A kit to make the A Gathering Place quilt.
Kit includes the fabrics to make the quilt top, binding fabric and the pattern.
This quilt was inspired by a mosaic tile of a vase with birds, which I saw in a beautiful church in Europe. I love the vases with birds in this quilt, in appliqué and embroidery, and I also added in the houses. The quilt features six appliqué/embroidery designs, English Paper Pieced hexagon flowers and stars, and a simple pieced cross block. The blocks are 6" finished.
In the pattern, I've provided line artwork to do the hand-stitched blocks as appliqué & embroidery together (as shown in the photos here), or as stitchery-only.
Finished quilt measures 48" square.
